I am trying to plan out an order for a new Transit which I will convert to a camper. A local dealer suggested the 3.7L Ti-VCT would be ideal and provide better fuel economy than the 3.5L EcoBoost. However, looking at the Ford specs the 3.5 provides more power and torque while looking in the forums I'm not seeing any real difference with economy.
The 3.5L F-series EcoBoost V6 engine uses twin parallel BorgWarner K03 turbochargers which can spin up to 170,000 RPM and provides up to 15 psi of boost pressure.
