🐷 Jira Not Working In Chrome
We are using Jira API on docs page to create Jira issues but it seems part of the Jira api doesn’t work on browser incognito mode with cookies disabled as it needs to store/retrieve some data from cookies. We use this url to set the collector:
Attach a file to a page using Drag and Drop feature no longer works in Chrome 19.0.1084.46 m. It used to work in Chrome 18.0.1025.168 m. Steps to reproduce: Go to a Confluence page; Click Add > Attachment; Drag and drop image/file here: Outcome: Nothing happened
For Jira Server : According to [JRASERVER-9380] external links to open in new window the feature has been implemented in Jira Server and Data Center version 8.4.0. However, due to a bug this still does not work for links in custom fields. The bug is tracked as: [JRASERVER-70096] External links in custom fields of type URL don't open in new tabs.
1. No vertical scroll bar on the page. 2. Menu on the left pane such like Reports, Issues and etc. are greyout (Only grey rectangles like shadow are shown on the left pane). 3. DropDown menus on the upper pane like Dashboard, Projects are not opend and selected. This must be a similar issue as "EI 11 - No Vertical Scroll Function on View Issue
To grant global permission: Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Add Permission section. Select the permission you want to grant in the Permission dropdown. We have had an issue today with not being able to drag and drop issues up and down or between columns on a Kanban board using Chrome ( Version 120.0.6099.130). On Edge it seems fine. It was working yesterday. It has happened on 2 machines, one Windows and one Mac. However on two other Windows machines it is working.
A couple things to try: - Reinstall 7.9 to see if there was something that got mucked around in the upgrade (I hate to tell you to try a carpetbomb approach, but sometimes it works) - Make absolutely sure that all your plugins are disabled. Since 7.9 is brand spanking new, there could be a conflict somewhere.
No one should be using it any more, and Jira does not support it. Browsers work differently, your code may not be being triggered because the code in Jira is correct and Chrome is interpreting it correctly (and IE is not), or your code might not be valid, and hence Chrome is ignoring it or unable to execute it.

Ctrl+P is working fine with Chrome browser for all user in all mode (Normal /Incognito). Ctrl+P is not working in normal / private mode under Edge browser for the above user. Given the answers, I would suggest the issues is local and not company wide, meaning the upgrade went fine and it is not an Atlassian/Jira issue instead user or computer
